MeghanKaite Co. Peach Story Template

Hello everyone!

It has been a MINUTE since I lasted uploaded a blog. Life has been so busy I haven’t had a chance to create for myself! I have been communicating a lot via my stories as of late, of my personal life and school projects that I think you guys would find interesting! If you guys haven’t tuned in, you might’ve missed that I have a new obsession… CERAMICS!

I am whole heartedly obsessed with clay and ceramics. I have been sharing my pieces on my story, and I thought I would create a template to share my pieces! I am subscribed to a template app on my phone, however sometimes it tends to look like everyone else’s story! Sooo I created a FREE template for you to download and use over your photos!

The process:

DISCLAIMER: The following instructions are based on an Iphone perspective. Android + other users, please read the directions and apply to your mobile device accordingly.

STEP 1: Pull up Instagram, and swipe up as if you are picking a photo for your story. Choose a photo you would like to post as a story! Pinch it so it is smaller and leave it at the top right corner.

STEP 2: Keep the app up, but go to your Photo Album. Choose another photo you would like to add to your story, since this template allows up to 2 photos!

STEP 3: Once you’ve found your second photo, tap the left corner, the square with an arrow pointing up. Slide ever so slightly up, and press “Copy Photo”

STEP 4: Head back over to Instagram, a button “Add Sticker” should appear! Press that. Pinch it and leave it at the lower left corner!

STEP 5: Obtain the template onto your smartphone by clicking HERE

NOTICE: I said obtain! You only need to “Copy” this photo! Just like how we have been been copying the past photos. To “Copy” just hold down on the template image once you see it, AFTER it opens in a new window.

STEP 7: You guessed it! Head back to Instagram, and press “Add Sticker” Now, you get to arrange it till you love it! It is finicky, but you will get the hang of it! :-)

If you are still confused, do not fret! By the time you read this, I should have a tutorial up on my IGTV or my highlight stories, under “Story Templates”

I’ve always loved Fleetwood Mac but this surprisingly was not inspired by them! I love plants and all things positive so I combined the two when I was perusing Pinterest for simple yet effective quotes! I saw “Go Your Own Way”, and thought HEY! What about Grow Your Own Way?!

I’ve always felt different as I was growing up and to this day, I can’t help but feel I am behind most of my peers. But I think to myself, I am growing my own way. My timing is right and it’s going to all pan out beautifully in the end. Trust your timing trust your growth. Most importantly, GROW YOUR OWN WAY!

Re•Fresh Crystal Candles

Hello everyone!

I made soy crystal candles!

I am in love and cannot wait for everyone to take one home. I won’t bore you with the details on exactly how to make it because trust me… there’s a million videos and tutorials on the inter web that have higher qualifications than me to show you!

But instead I thought I’d show you some behind the scene pics and just the way I came up with the idea of a crystal candle.

I’ve always been drawn to candles and enjoyed fresh scents. However it wasn’t until these last two years have I consciously changed from regular wax to soy. The health differences are drastic! *But let’s face it, all candles are only encouraged when used moderately.*

My whole highschool to adult life I was in search of trying to find my scent. Poor highschool me was constantly drenched in Bath & Body works body spray, and now as an adult I truly appreciate the notes of scent and use it sparingly. Back to scents! I was never a sugary scent gal, floral is a line that can easily be crossed and smell too pungent, and anything musky tends to smell like cologne to me. However there was one scent that I never got tired of, fresh linen.

The smell of fresh linen is comparable to an easy Sunday morning. The swing of a freshly washed sundress. The second your face hits the white fluffy pillow for a day nap. The warmth of a basket of laundry coming out of the dryer. The breeze and the sun simultaneously waking you up from a morning.

Thats what fresh linen smells like to me and this candle embodies just that.

However as healing as those scents and recollections might be, I wanted to kick it up a notch with embedding crystals into the candle. The crystals itself can withstand the heat of a flame but it is encouraged to take out the crystals to hold, charge, or connect with. Rose Quartz and Clear Quartz are housed in each candle jar and they both combat different healing properties.

Wallpaper Wednesday- Dusty Rainbow

Hi everyone! If you are a long time follower on my Instagram page you are familiar with #WallpaperWednesday. I was on a roll, with editing and sketching out new wallpapers every week but got snow balled in with commissions and other exciting projects. But rest assured, they are not gone forever!

I love creating wallpapers because I believe in sprinkling art every way possible into your daily life. Whether it be a dash or a splash, putting something positive, lively, and artistically curated into your life will only gravitate encouraging, wholesome, and positive energy!

With that being said here is the first Wallpaper available here on my blog. I have been drawn to rainbows recently and this color palette is all I seem to gravitate towards this summer. I want to thank you personally for checking out this site and reading my very first blog post. I have always loved writing and I am excited for this space here to pour out my ideas, thinking, and pieces of my life. Please browse around and let me know what you think of my part of the internet.

Building a website is not easy, but at the same time nothing is hard when you are having fun. I loved creating every little thing, down to the buttons. I am in the process of bringing everything in my inventory to this site but feel free to continue to shop my Etsy. I will still be shipping items out from that platform for the time being.
